  • Participation as a research assistant in the master’s thesis work of Waldemar Pires involving conformance testing between UML projects and their Java implementations.

  • Worked remotely for Sun Microsystems promoting FOSS technology.
  • Promoted local FOSS community through Sun Academic Programs in UFCG and nearby universities in the Campina Grande region in order to help students to upgrade their tech profiles.
  • Gave many talks about Development and Operating Systems technologies in FOSS and university events.
  • Fostered the creation of FOSS communities in the universities. Some of them still active in the present days, as GESoL-CG (Group of Free Software Enthusiastics of Campina Grande).
