Position Description

You will be responsible for researching and qualifying prospective clients as part of the Outbound Sales Team. You will provide high quality feedback and insight on a daily basis that will be critical for the team’s pursuit of ambitious growth and sales goals. You will work with a high-energy team of sales analysts, sales engineers, software engineers, and growth specialists to plan and execute outreach initiatives, monitor impact, and increase sales at Toptal. To excel at this position, you must effectively manage your time, communicate well, have exceptional research skills, and maintain high attention to detail.

This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere.


  • Research and qualify new contacts at prospective client companies with the Outbound Sales Team.
  • Assure quality and accuracy in all outbound sales data provided by engineering teams.
  • Continuously provide constructive insights on improvements that can be made to all outbound sales processes.
  • Work with a fast-moving, cross-functional, data-oriented team focused on increasing sales at Toptal.
  • Effectively use data and analytics to inform the direction of outreach initiatives.
  • Be in constant communication with team members via Skype.


  • Pay close attention to detail and be extremely process-oriented and data-driven.
  • Have a numbers-oriented mindset with an aptitude for tracking progress and setting and meeting goals.
  • Be comfortable in a fast-moving company with a focus on execution.
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
  • You must be a world-class individual contributor to thrive at Toptal. You will not be here just to tell other people what to do.
