About the Event

Toptal is proud to sponsor Open Camps 2017, one of the largest Open Source conferences, taking place in New York City, November 18-20.

Open Camps provides a mission-driven arena for open source community members, contributors and leaders to collaborate. It is free and open to all, to ensure there are no barriers between the world’s best open source developers, technologies and organizations. This year’s conference will offer a wide array of events, including focus events for key open source technologies, industry best practices, and community considerations.

This year’s event includes a talk by Ethan Brooks, North American Community Lead at Toptal. Ethan will present “Avoiding Burnout as a Remote Worker” [Nov. 18, 3:30 PM EST].

Ethan will reveal a major cause of burnout that isn’t often discussed, along with actionable tips for avoiding it while increasing your productivity, delivering higher quality work, and freeing up time to pursue your other interests. This session is especially relevant for employees and freelancers who work remotely, but will have wider applications to all knowledge workers who are expected to consistently execute at the highest levels.
