About the Event

The internet allows us to be more connected than ever before. Yet despite a growing number of hours spent online and on social media, people around the world are struggling with feelings of increased isolation.

To investigate this trend and discuss potential solutions, the community experts at Loyal are organizing a panel discussion March 14th, at Convene.

This event brings together leaders from a few of the world’s top online communities to explain recent attempts by organizations like Facebook to counteract digital loneliness, and to discuss the future of work and social interaction online and off.

Join fellow Toptalers from the New York area to listen in on the conversation. After the event, Toptalers will head to Trinity Place for drinks and a discussion of their own.

Speakers include:

Kristin Hodgson, Communications Director, Meetup
Christine Moellenberndt, Community Manager & Anthropologist, Reddit
Kyle Baptista, COO, CreativeMornings
Matthew Ström, Design Director,

Toptal is covering the cost of tickets for confirmed attendees. Please RSVP here in order to secure your spot. For questions about the event, please contact Totpal’s Community Leader in New York City, Taylor Platt.
