UX + Design of Analytical Apps

About the Event

How do visual analytics apps like Tableau or Power BI work under the hood? Can visualizations scale to work with trillions of records? How can analytical apps enter the mainstream and become accessible to people without data backgrounds?

Toptal is proud to sponsor the next UX + Data meetup, December 4 at 6:45pm, during which we’ll tackle these questions and look at the future of analytical app design.

This meetup will be led by Matthew Weber, who also teaches the class UX + Design of Analytical Apps in Columbia University’s Master of Science in Applied Analytics program. Matthew will walk the group through principles taught in the class to make data easier to understand for all, as well as showcasing breakthrough student work.

This will also be your opportunity to meet Jordan De Vos, editor of Toptal’s Design blog. Jordan will be onsite to say hello and answer any questions you may have about Toptal.

RSVP on this page to gain free admission to this event. For more information, please contact Jordan directly.
