Can robots play soccer by themselves? Yes they can! Come find out how! Toptal is pleased to present a 1 hour presentation and Q and A on: The Ins and Outs of Robot Soccer, which will take place on Zoom on November 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM EST.

Join us as Jayen Ashar, Web Developer, with a double-degree and university honors from CMU, and 13 years on autonomous robot soccer team rUNSWift experience, will teach us the following: What is RoboCup? What robots are used by the soccer standard platform league? The software architecture used by our team (open source), the various robot sports competitions, and how you and your kids can get involved.

Jayen has worked on various parts of team rUNSWift’s code, including vision, machine learning, debugging visualisations, device drivers, networking, and software architecture. He currently helps tech startups become scaleups through his technical expertise. Other team members create successful tech startups, work on self-driving cars, or work for a Big Tech company.

This talk welcomes all developers from diverse backgrounds and skill-sets, interested in getting together to share knowledge and experience. The event Q&A will be moderated by the Head of Community, Margaux Miller.
