What do books about ANDROID keep silent? 5 problems that are not written in documentation

Every system or software is not insured against bugs or problems, but their number varies depending on the developer or popularity. Though it may seem that some platforms are perfect, why then is it necessary to update them? With the development of IT technology, not all the companies succeed in creating worthy products and even those that have already conquered the world with their popularity do have some serious problems. Despite a variety of manuals how to use Android, one of the most widely-spread platforms, only a minority of them will admit that Android does have some problems too. Let us see what are the most widely spread Android development mistakes and how a user can identify them on his or her device.

  1. Constant Reboot Problems

Any device can restart as a reason for some problems, but you should think twice if it happens at least a few times per day. If you notice these inconveniences rather often, it is time to evaluate what reboot type it is:

  • Restarting of Android operating system when your screen shows no info for several seconds and gets blank;
  • A complete restart of your phone with new loading, as if you have turned a mobile phone on once again.

The first type is regarded to be normal for this operating system, at the same time the class number two is a feature of existing problems. In this situation, it is advisable to perform a diagnosis of your telephone to determine the reason or check updates as that might be problems with hardware. If a device gets much hotter, that may signalize about CPU problems, which are solved by manufacturers only. Such problems with functionality might also be a result of newly installed apps or application of changes in the setting menu. Overloaded RAM would be a cause of rebooting too.

The most effective ways how to solve a reboot problem are:

  • Uninstalling of malicious applications;
  • Trying to make RAM free as often as possible (with the help of a special mobile application, for example);
  • Downloading the latest Android updates;
  • Restoration of original settings;
  • Manual restart of the device.
  1. Inability to Download Apps from Google Play

Have you ever experienced a situation, when your Android device failed to download apps from Google Play? There are different reasons for this misfortune:

  • Problems related to the Internet or Wi-Fi connection: they may not function properly, or you might have exceeded the limit of mobile Data;
  • Difficulties with the operating system that can be solved by simple restarting of your device or restoration of factory settings;
  • Overloaded cache of Google ‘play App that must be cleared;
  • Lack of internal storage necessary for the new app. Uninstall unnecessary apps or clear the cash to get more storage;
  • The absence of up-to-date software and vital updates may also block downloads, so your Google Play App must be renewed to the latest version.
  1. No Space in the Phone Storage

Another misfortune that awaits users of Android-based devices is full storage message that prevents you from access to the gallery, listening to music, connection to the computer via USB or installation of new applications. People, who work with Android application development, have already corrected this bug in new versions of the operating system. This may happen because of a constant use of the phone without restart or too much cache information. Sometimes phone owners might need a file manager to learn what they have in the memory or move some of the apps to SD card to get more space.

  1. Your Android Device has no USB Connection with PC

USB connection with the computer is a necessity for modern phones as they provide numerous additional functions apart from making calls. But Android devices often fail to connect PCs and sometimes it is the fault of the operating system too. You may meet such problems as:

  • Computer does not recognize the plugged device;
  • It is recognized, but you can access memory;
  • Operating system of your PC can not install provided PC suite software or drivers;
  • There is no response either from the device or the computer after plugging in.

Though the number of problems with Android is rather big, the easiest way to solve them is to restart your phone. This trivial action might be rather useful in different situations. But there are some more solutions of this trouble:

  • Phone updating;
  • Computer software updating;
  • Usage of debug mode to access the Android device directly;
  • Cleaning up of computer USB devices if problem is with the PC;
  • Use manual installation of PC suite and necessary drivers;
  • Check the workability of the USB cable.
  1. A Necessity to Recharge Battery Very Often

The most often problem of Android devices to compare them with other platform ones is a lack of battery charging. Little do people know if they are not connected with Android App development, that sometimes the problem is not in the battery of the phone or another device, but in the operating system. It requires so much energy that almost all batteries run flat faster than old mobiles. And though original documentation and books keep silent about this problem every user experiences it on a daily basis. How can you get rid of this annoying problem? You can manage apps by using some battery saving applications or just have a thorough control of everything that might eat up battery and not be used at the moment (Wi-Fi, GPS, maximal screen brightness, advertisements, background apps, etc.)

These are only some of the problems that occur rather often in Android-based devices. Of course, none of the programmers will admit officially that his creation might have some bugs only if they are not too serious or tell this in official manuals, but practice is the best data, and all the problems rise after months of everyday use of operating system or software. The only advice to professional IT specialists is to take into account this unofficial information in later updates and try to solve any possible problems before the release of a new product.
