About the event

Toptal is sponsoring Rubyslava, one of the biggest Ruby meetups in the region, and this time, we have a host of interesting topics!

Elastic - Rastislav Rehák, mimacom

What’s New in Elastic and Lessons Learned from Migration: SOLR to Elastic.

One ring to… push them all - Lukáš Fryč, Exponea

When you hear terms like MPNS, FCM, APNS, WNS, GCM, ADM, SimplePush, and WebPush, do you recognize them? Oh, yes, all of these are push notification protocols that an application can use to engage with its users. The question is, how can one tame all of these protocols while working effectively and reliably? AeroGear UnifiedPush Server is an Open Source project that unifies push messaging under a single API, accompanied by SDKs for all supported platforms. You no longer need to master the little details of all the protocols; UnifiedPush does all the hard work for you. Lukas is AeroGear’s project contributor. You will not only see how easy it is to use UnifiedPush, but Lukas will also uncover the internals of the server and how it uses transactional messaging to spread the load across cluster nodes.

You can RSVP here. For questions regarding the event, please contact Jano Suchal, our Community leader in Bratislava..
