WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Anyone from casual users to core developers can participate, share ideas, and get to know each other at these events.

The next WordCamp in Canada will be help in Toronto on September 30th and October 1st at Ryerson University. The event will feature several talks, including one from Rodrigo Donini, a Toptal developer. Rodrigo will give a talk on September 30th entitled, “Tips to Shield Your WP Site” during which you will hear how to increase security and protect your WordPress site against possible attacks. His talk will start at 4:00 PM.
