George is an accomplished financial advisor on business valuations, corporate finance, capital funding, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. With over 15 years of investment banking experience in the US, Europe, and South America—covering technology, financial services, renewable energy, healthcare, industrial, and real investments. George also has CFA and CAIA designations and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Mgmt. A Brazilian national, he conducts business in English and Portuguese.
Worked for a technology startup co‐founded by MIT graduates. The enterprise’s objective is to provide an innovative oneway electric car-sharing service for the greater Boston area as a green urban mobility solution for commuters.
Developed the initial business plan by studying alternative operational solutions, and building the financial model.
Identified potential sources of capital, developed partnerships with public and private entities, and dealt with everyday administrative and legal matters.

Co‐launched investment management business, Galleas Asset Management, overseeing a team of equity analysts, reaching an AUM of $57 million, and spinning off the business within two years after a more than 100% ROI.
Spearheaded Galleas’ leveraged buyout of Intercontinental Furniture, Brazil’s largest furniture exporter, from Ashley Furniture Industries and subsequently exited the investment.
