Calixtus Finance
- Provided insight into working capital needs for an EU/China-based wholesale company. This insight enabled them to get the working capital facility needed and allowed them to realize their growth forecast.
- Built the financial model for a SaaS startup with a globally distributed team and guided them through the fundraising process, raising EUR 1.5 million.
- Provided an international art company in China with advice on their financial structuring between China and the headquarters.
- Built a financial model with the flexibility to test three business models in one model for a China-based product incubation company.
CFO
Eurosider (Tianjin) Coating Technology Co., Ltd
- Built the financial model prior to launch of the company and for fundraising.
- Recruited, trained, and managed operational level finance and admin staff.
- Set up internal finance and control procedures from launch, and prepared for strong growth.
- Prepared investor documentation, including financial forecasts (P&L and cashflow forecasts as well as scenario modeling), teaser, investor presentation, and draft term sheet.
- Led selection and implementation of CRM system linked to internal financial and operational reporting systems.
- Coached and groomed the sales manager, preparing him to take on the general manager role. Taught him systemic thinking, board-level reporting, and how to read and manage financial statements.

SDS Ventures Ltd
- Established three sustainable technology companies in China. This included selecting and screening European technologies, building business cases for them, and raising external seed capital to launch these technologies in China.
- Attracted private investors for all three companies (approximately EUR 500,000 each) and realized one partial exit to a Venture Capital investor at 3x valuation in two years.
- Set up the administrative and financial systems for each company. This included monthly management and tax reporting, management dashboards, investor relations, and internal control procedures.
- Engaged in strategic decision making based on financial reports and forecasts.
- Managed annual external audit processes for SDS Ventures and all related legal entities in both Hong Kong and China.
