Sip Herbals is an Oregon-based, award-winning, healthier coffee alternative brand that was also featured on Shark Tank. The brand faced customer engagement challenges and struggled to foster brand loyalty. What's more, it recently underwent a rebrand and noticed a disconnect between its content and refreshed image.

My strategy was to update the company's campaigns and flows to align with its recent rebrand. In addition, I set out to enhance customer retention and sustain engagement by creating additional customer touchpoints post-transaction—which yielded outstanding results: I reached a 155% increase in attributed revenue, a 63% increase in placed order rate, and a 34% increase in flow click rate.

Jungle Merch is an Australian eCommerce store specializing in music record and band merch. They sell licensed merchandise for bands like AC/DC, Guns n' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, Metallica, and dozens more. The store faced evident challenges, including low retention rates, low order rates, basic email templates, limited cross-sell potential, and generic product recommendations.

As a solution, I created genre-specific segments and used them in flows and campaigns. The idea was to recommend similar products to users based on their purchase history. This means if someone buys a Metallica t-shirt, they're more likely to be a fan of rock music and to buy a t-shirt from a rock band. I also cleaned the email list and suppressed the inactive users. This meant we sent emails only to interested recipients, thereby increasing open and click rates. Also, by suppressing the list, we would no longer pay the tool for an audience that didn't bring much value. In addition, I redesigned the templates from scratch and ensured the design was aesthetic and actionable.

As a result of these optimizations, the company increased revenue per email by 2.8x. Order rates grew by 36%, and the campaign revenue rate increased by 192%.

Email Marketing Automation Setup for Redfox Baggers

RedFox Baggers had a low customer retention rate, paid ads had a low ROI, and repeat orders were declining. In addition, there was no personalized approach to customer communication and engagement. To solve these challenges, I set up email marketing automation to nurture subscribers, send them order updates, and prevent lost sales. I implemented nine flows: welcome series, order confirmation, shipping confirmation, abandoned check-out, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, order follow-up, cross-sell, and win-back series. I also set up signup forms to capture emails from website visitors.
