Samsung in Education Brochure

Developed and created B2B content to demonstrate Samsung technologies' potential in education.

This project involved creating a brochure to show how Samung's latest innovative offerings could transform classrooms and schools into active, collaborative environments. It offered a comprehensive guide on how tablets, laptops, and displays can enrich the learning experience and enhance education while driving efficiency in school operations.
The primary challenge was not just providing vital product information but to create a compellling narrative that brought the reader along the arc of industry trends to impending challenges before finally demonstrating Samsung's solutions to those challenges in the form of value propositions and specific features of products. Once the narrative structure was constructed, it was a case of fleshing out the sections in an engaging and succinct way. A large part of my work was researching the trends and challenges of the education market and working with the IBM Consulting team and Samsung Electronics to hit on the specific features they wanted to highlight.

Hanwha Newsroom Article

https://www.hanwha.com/en/news_and_media/stories/innovations/prepare-for-takeoff-hanwha-puts-uam-in-thedrivers-seat-of-urban-sustainability.html

Developed and wrote an engaging article for Hanhwa's urban mobility initiative.

Urban mobility projects, and flying cars specifically, are currently in development at Hanhwa Systems and are projected to be the future of private transport in urban environments. With plans for infrastructure in place and the latest developments in electric propulsion systems, Hanhwa is looking to be at the forefront of this new wave of transportation. It was my job to create an engaging article explaining the future of urban mobility. The premise behind the article was interesting in and of itself, but Hanwha wasn't sure how to shape the content. The main challenge for this piece was finding the entry point into the heart of the narrative. This was accomplished by researching the history of flying cars, which provided an engaging window into the first visionaries who championed what seemed like a ludicrous concept at the time. Once this was locked down, the flow of the story was easy to construct and fill out with the help of Hanwha, providing the vital product and technical information they wanted to communicate.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Lineup Brochure

Wrote attractive B2B content for Samsung Galaxy S4 devices.

This project involved creating a brochure explaining the benefits of Samsung Galaxy S4 for enterprises. This Samsung model is designed for business needs and has specific features for varying environments. The S4 emphasizes performance, mobility, and active durability for fieldwork, offering convenience without sacrificing performance. Once the main features of the products were decided upon by Samsung's smartphone division, the primary challenge, beyond conveying the product information was researching business trends and challenges as this was a key attempt by Samsung to push their phones into industry sectors. They key for his piece was making a cohesive narrative that could seamlessly include all three S4 types, differentiating each one for their specific areas of use while showing their value in the ever-evolving business landscape.

Samsung "ME95C" Online Feature

Wrote a compelling online feature copy for the world's largest and slimmest display at the time, the "ME95C."

At the time, Samsung's "ME95C" was the world's largest and slimmest professional display with edge LED and FHD technologies, creating an immersive visual experience. Aimed at high-end retail establishments, this model was designed to replace outdated static signage with a more luxurious, enriched environment.
To make this piece stand out, it had to not only contain critical product feature information but just enough catchiness, specifically in the titles, to keep the copy compelling. Though a B2B piece, it had shades of B2C, creating a nice balance the client was aiming for.

Samsung Printing Innovation Brochure

Created compelling content for Samsung's B2B initiative for printing solutions.

Samsung's printing innovation was part of a larger initiative to extend the company's reach into the B2B market. The initiative focused on printing solutions that enabled convenient remote printing on multiple devices using the latest printing technology.
How to make printer interesting and in the B2B sphere? The engaging aspect came mainly in the title and subtitles, with the content itself focusing more on product features and the value it can bring to workers and business situations. One of the keys to this piece was providing Samsung with multiple title and subtitle options to choose from, as there was a back-and-forth while we tweaked the final result.

Self-driving Car Article for SK Hynix's Newsroom

https://news.skhynix.com/lets-hit-the-road-automated-vehicles-are-pulling-into-the-fast-lane/

Wrote an article delving into the development of autonomous cars while highlighting SK Hynix's role in memory innovation.

SK Hynix's high-capacity NAND flash memory and dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) are critical components in developing auto-grade memory technology, which will enable self-driving cars to process and store the enormous amounts of data required by specific sensors and AI technology. I wrote an engaging article focusing on these matters, highlighting SK Hynix's role in memory innovation. The challenge for this article was researching NAND and DRAM memory, specifically LPPDR5 auto-grade DRAM. Getting a full understanding of the history of how this memory technology was basically ported over from smartphone innovation was key. Then, it was a case of understanding how autonomous cars work in regards to memory, with the last piece of the puzzle being SK Hynix's product value in the development of these AI-driven cars.

Samsung Magic Presenter Leaflet

Developed and wrote a B2B leaflet for a first-of-its-kind laserless presentation tool.

The Magic Presenter was the first laserless presentation tool that addressed the disadvantages of conventional laserless pointers. It solved their inability to point to large digital displays due to lack of visibility. I wrote a B2B leaflet introducing this laserless presentation tool and its advantages.
As this was a first-of-its-kind product, it took quite a few passes, as Samsung's development team wasn't one hundred percent sure how they wanted the features to be highlighted. The key for the Magic Presenter was focusing on its value propositions and giving real-life examples of how it overcomes the shortcomings of other pointers.

Samsung Galaxy NotePro Flyer

Authored a compelling B2B flyer for Samsung Galaxy NotePro.

The Galaxy NotePro was Samsung's initial foray into tablet devices for business professionals. It included critical features such as a large, high-resolution screen, pre-loaded robust collaboration features, and essential business functionalities.
This piece focused soley on it's features with the mission of succinctly demonstrating its advantages for business professionals. This required fully understanding the product and doing the research to be able to confidently go into a deep dive.

Samsung Printing Solutions Video Script

Wrote the narration script for a Samsung printing solutions video presented at CeBIT 2014, a major international trade fair for information technology and telecommunications.

This project involved creating the script for a video introducing Samsung's cloud and mobile printing solutions. It emphasized the prevalence of smartphone use at work and on the go to push the theme of working and printing anytime, anywhere.
To write this piece, initially, I had to delve into cloud computing and how it works. With that understood, it was a case of working with the Samsung team to come up with compelling script narration that would play over visuals and graphics the Samsung team had in mind. The key was having the exact right narration synced with each graphic to create the engaging, informative experience Samsung required.
