We aimed to maximize signups with a beta launch of Colorful, a new 3D photography booth app, and exceeded our goal, achieving the number two product of the week and gaining over 1,000 new accounts.

I worked as part of a cross-functional team to carefully plan and execute our Product Hunt launch strategy.

Leveraging community engagement and outreach, we built relationships by posting in the PH community, reaching Twitter accounts, and warming up Discord and Reddit channels, among other communities, for launch day. The launch helped the team receive fundamental product feedback from various user segments and use cases to learn from.

To capture more learning and engage our new users, we also launched our Discord community, which I managed until it grew to 200 members. This strategy was invaluable for the team to iterate on the product and resulted in significant improvements based on the insights we gained.
