Functional architect in designing and developing a custom solution that accurately captures crude transportation costs from wellhead to the customer, improving the trading team’s profit by $10 million a year.
I started at the client by creating reports that gave visibility into their operations. The product vision for a custom solution to accurately track and optimize their logistics came from the analysis of this data with the stakeholders.
I led the process of defining the product roadmap and held design sessions to develop the use cases and requirements. Brought together a team of developers working in an iterative approach to develop the solution. We completed the project successfully, allowing the business to reduce costs and improve revenue.
Video on Demand and Live Trading Network
Led a tech startup through the process of developing a product from a simple problem statement that involved creating a platform for video on demand and live streaming.
With his team, through further design sessions, we developed use cases, a product backlog, requirements, and prioritization based on capital funding.
Working through the decision of build vs. buy, I led the vendor analysis and platform selection process. Since the client needed further customizations, I worked with the team to prioritize and cost out the requirements in the product backlog with the vendor. The client was able to launch the product and had a three-year product roadmap and backlog.
The platform developed was like Twitch, but for traders. Individuals trading in the financial markets can create subscription plans for their content, including video-on-demand and live streaming.
