REVAFR

Reduced operating costs by 40% as I led the project to revamp XIB (JPMC's trade analytics platform) to a new tech stack employing big data and cloud technologies.

XIB is JPMC's sales attribution platform used by 6,000 operations people and 2,000 salespeople. It processes two million records daily, and several downstream systems depend on XIB's reporting, which they use to run analytics. I owned and drove the product roadmap, requirements, data models, workflows, and OKRs for this initiative.

Trade Reporting Engine (TRE)

Developed a B2B trade submission system that exceeded the mandate to obtain three paid clients within six months of launch by securing three prior to rollout.

TRE used to plug into data from clients' accounts at EOD, munch it, validate it, and transform it into FINRA's Order Audit Trail System (OATS) system. (FINRA is a US regulatory body under the SEC.) Along with this, TRE used to store all the intermediate desk's info, amendment requests, split info, and trade details, enabling us to supply all the attributes of all the related trades within a short deadline if required by authorities.

I led the discovery, design, and development of TRE from scratch. In so doing, I conceived the system and developed its data model, schema, UX, and workflow logic, and led the development team.

Equity Derivatives LOB Automation

Streamlined and automated the workflow of the equity line of business for a French bank, thereby reducing costs by 30%.

I established a 25-member team, including product managers, designers, developers, QAs, and the PMO, and I had to recruit people because the bench strength was minimal. I also wrote job descriptions and crafted the induction program.

We replaced numerous applications and manual interventions that were time-consuming, distracting, and costly for our client with a third-party solution to automate the whole workflow. We wrote the workflow, integrated it with upstream and downstream systems, configured customized reports, and delivered it to the client to his full satisfaction. In addition to reducing costs by 30%, the solution improved the manageability of the whole business flow.

Helped one of the largest financial institutions of the Philippines to define the best dashboards to monitor relevant KPIs and made strategic recommendations to their CIO on conducting their business going forward.

Enterprise System Integration Platform

Led the definition and development of Mulesoft APIs and created mapping documents between data models of different systems. These systems were part of the CRM of CFN.

CFN was replacing a homegrown system that manages commission payouts to their financial advisors. Their legacy compensation system was quite dated and had several hardcode business rules, mainly using SQL queries. This compensation system was being replaced by a 3rd-party solution (Xtiva). To provide the data this new system needed, they built a tool to collect data from different sources and augment it with other required information.

KEY ACTIVITIES
• Led the definition and development of Mulesoft APIs for pulling relevant reference data from Snowflake, displaying it on the UI for the user, and sending it to Xtiva. These APIs were created on the Anypoint platform and were System and Experience APIs.
• Defined Snowflake views for the above purpose; these views were for CRM data.
• Defined mappings between transaction data providers and the data model of CFN ADLS for ingesting incoming files.
• Defined mappings for pulling transaction data from ADLS and display fields of the UI.

Product Manager | SaaS Product for Universities and Colleges

Defined and led development of MVP of an edtech product. It is live in two universities of USA.

KnowledgeVarsity was looking to develop a product for teachers and professors to auto-grade assignments submitted by students.

I defined the MVP of the product based on the interactions with teachers based in India and the US and the founders.
I also identified tech resources and managed the MVP development and go-live project.
