Custom Desktop PC Builds

http://intangible.tech

Currently have the 12th fastest consumer desktop in the world!

My latest desktop is built for handling nearly anything, utilizing the greatest technology can offer (2020). With custom liquid cooling, I'm able to push consumer hardware harder and longer than any cloud service can provide, which allows my creativity to run wild with new endeavors and product ideas.

Using its CPU power, I reverse engineered $6,000 worth of professional audio hardware and replicated its outcomes through a pure software and USB audio solution. The result is a $1.2k software package yielding the immediate benefit of improved acoustics and the time and cost savings associated with hardware.

Leveraging AMD's virtualization cores, I'm able to use Window's hypervisor across every major operating system, including OSX, through custom generated configurations. Toying with PCI passthrough, I take this a step further by allowing VMs to interact directly with bare metal USB, Gen 4 NVMe SSDs, and even a second full-size GPU.

More to come!

Detroit Towing Cloud-based ERP

Delivered and helped save a small Detroit tow trucking company from bankruptcy by automating their entire business.

For my undergraduate capstone project, I teamed up with a local Detroit towing company on the verge of bankruptcy. Due to a previous worker's scandal and the rise of needing a digital presence, the company only had a few months to become profitable.

Understanding what needed to be done, I convinced the business and my team members to utilize G Suite for the company's workflow. Not only did this allow us to have a quick working tool, but it kept the ongoing expense of the software to a bare minimum for the company.

All finances were automated within Google Sheets and linked to QuickBooks. Payment invoices were now sent and received through Google Forms and PayPal with invoice information synced to Sheets.

The website was built using Google Sites and was optimized for mobile viewing. Account management was included allowing invoices information to be seen. Most importantly, we integrated Google AdWords with an emphasis on Google Maps priority.

Within one week of using AdWords, business sparked over 300% and was the number three result within Google while searching for towing in the Detroit Metro, whereas previously, they were not featured at all.

Automated Cryptocurrency Arbitrage Trading Bot - 2016

Produced an automated arbitrage trading algorithm across four separate cryptocurrency exchanges.

Wanting to leverage knowledge from my college project's bot based on StockTwits data and my aunt's news of writing a book on arbitrage made me think about how I could blend the two.

At the time, you would often see high discrepancies between exchanges holding the same cryptocurrency. In many cases, people were moving assets to another exchange and then taking the profits without the risk of another currency.

However, this was before tax regulations were more solidified. I wish I could say that I made a boatload of money, but despite the bot being net positive on simulations, I was never able to properly implement executing trades that would remain net positive if transaction fees increased and/or tax fees were included and abandoned the idea.

However, this got me into learning about Stellar, my favorite Blockchain, and how they include arbitrage natively within their protocol. It expanded my eyes into the economic impact of cryptocurrencies and how it fundamentally changes the way our future financial system will work and operate.

Automated Investing Twitter Bot - 2015

Led undergraduate IT systems team to produce a real-time investment bot. Bot produced 75% accuracy at stock price movement prediction based on real-time Twitter activity.

Curious on how I could leverage the (at the time) newly implemented ($) tag on Twitter, I built a basic stock investing bot that would use Twitter activity to predict whether someone should invest or not.

Using PHP to scrape Twitter feeds for the ($) symbol, I correlated who most actively tweeted about specific stocks and their accuracy over 72 hours after posting. I used these users as my most frequently checked user base and could predict accuracy based on past results.

Due to a time crunch, the end product was a basic script supplying a. CSV file that contained the most talked-about stocks over 24 hours and a percentage-based guess at that stock increasing in value based on the weight of others.

Over the span of 12 days of testing results, roughly 75% of all estimates were correct (being 51%+ recommended).

This was a fantastic introduction to both web scraping and data analysis.

Cryptocurrency Mining (GPU Optimization) - 2013

Mined enough Litecoin and Bitcoin with triple AMD GPUs to pay for the new computer in addition to heating my college home during the Michigan winter.

On the quest to build a new gaming machine for my final college years, I discovered I could have my new computer pay for itself by mining cryptocurrency.

At the time, there was significantly less interest in cryptocurrencies and it was a very niche topic. However, it utilized my favorite piece of hardware - the GPU or graphics processing unit, which piqued my interest.

I quickly realized what hardware was the most cost-effective for cryptography. On top of that, I learned how to customize GPU BIOS information. This allowed me to use select AMD GPUs sold at lower cost SKUs and that through software, turn them into their higher-priced siblings, gaining bang for the buck.

I purchased everything for roughly $3,000 using PayPal Credit, giving me six months of no interest. Within two months, I had enough to pay it off fully by converting my mined Litecoin to USD.

Looking back, I now regret not holding onto the asset as it would have been worth over $3 million in 2017 vs. my $3,000 PC (now sitting in my parent's basement).

However, my interest and technical understanding of Blockchain at its most miniscule levels started with this build and very much continues.

iOS 1.0 Jailbreak - 2009

I was one of the original iOS jailbreak hackers and app developers while a freshman in high school.

There once existed a time before App Stores existed. For me, this was the beginning of high school, and being the nerd that I am, I purchased an iPod Touch, knowing that it was capable of far more things than the simple apps it came with.

Learning SSH commands and other toolsets, I was able to successfully load jailbreaks as a member of developer forums.

Because I was often bored in class, I went ahead and converted a C-coded Game Boy advanced emulator as an app. Why? Because I wanted to play Pokemon sneakily tucked away behind my textbook!

I had no idea what I was doing at the time other than trying to play Pokemon, which showcases how willing I am to learn new things to deliver an outcome.

This also showcases how even when I was younger, I recognized what technology is capable of and how it can be brought to life.
