Project History

Kenzie Free | Introductory Online Courses

Drove both conversion and graduation rates as the product manager working on an online sampling of the Kenzie educational experience.

Kenzie Free was an introductory experience to help prospective students validate if they enjoyed coding, convince them they could succeed, and prove that Kenzie was the right place for them to learn. Students who completed the program were 4x more likely to enroll and 20% more likely to persist past their first month in the program.

Kenzie Profiles

Led the team in building a platform to promote students to employers.

Kenzie Profiles was an employer-facing product that allowed us to promote our recent and soon-to-be grads and help them get their first tech job. We gathered requirements from employer partners around their hiring process and what they wanted to see from candidates.

We also used platform access as an incentive for them to join our employer partner program, which led to more than 100 nationwide companies agreeing to review our candidates. This tool was a significant contributor to Kenzie maintaining high post-program placement rates of 80%.

IDEO U Course Product Scaling

Created a scalable solution for 4x more courses without increasing the number of staff.

We were tasked with growing revenue and thus course offerings without a linear increase in staffing while still offering our students a rich, human-centered interactive experience. We streamlined the course development process, reimagined the staffing model, and introduced community-led learning opportunities to achieve our goal of growing revenues 2x a year for two years straight (4x total over two years).
