DriverLinc is the primary interface of the truck driver in a large fleet. The system is integrated with the truck's internal network (CAN bus) and tachograph and over the air connected to the planners and dispatchers of the transport company. I was brought in to create a new Android version of the existing Windows CE screen. My team was able to ship the new hardware and software in six months, thanks to an agile approach in every aspect of the project. This was new to the company but worked so well that my team became the standard, after which the other development teams were modeled. Our modular approach to software development enabled us to create a SaaS version of the app, which initiated a whole new business line for Astrata.

Performance-based recruitment starts from the premise that customers and mostly corporate recruiters don't have to pay for the advertisement of the job. Still, they pay for successful matches or candidates that match the sought-after skills.

Moveasy is a MaaS platform available as a white-label solution for B2B companies. It allows an organization to set up a service for their customers or employees to choose from a range of mobility options whenever and wherever they need, including bus, tram, shared car, shared bike, and more. Users can activate the service on the fly, and new user onboarding only takes two minutes. The standard front end is a PWA that can be customized, but APIs exist to allow native app development.

In 2022, I led the European market research that Pioneer had asked GfK to conduct. GfK was tasked with setting up online surveys and video interviews for Pioneer's three major markets—Japan, the US, and Europe. I was in the lead for the European part of the survey design (1,500+ respondents) and the analysis and live session follow-up interviews (20 respondents).

As the management liaison for the European management team, my work also included reporting to the Belgian and Japanese headquarters. It usually took two to three weeks for GfK to transcribe their sessions and evaluate the contents. As I speak English, French, and German, I could offer an evaluation within the day—which was also the reason we did a second wave without GfK's involvement. As a result, I set up the whole operation on my own and had native speakers conduct the interviews.

In 2021, I handled the architectural planning of a smart city app for the Belgian city of Antwerp. For the concept evaluation, we ordered a set of live contextual prototype evaluations. In these tests, people were interviewed about their needs as citizens or users of the app. In the second part of the evaluation, they were asked to use a working mockup in a pre-defined scenario to evaluate individual tasks.

In this project, I was involved in evaluating the user experience as a domain expert in app UX and helped the design team update crucial parts of the app's user experience.
