Delivered much improved CRM, claims, and delegated authority management capability.

The new product unites existing, merged, and acquired businesses onto a new single platform capable of delivering various functions. It includes:

• Front-office functions, such as CRM for the retail sales team, and wholesale CRM for the client, insurers, and third-party's onboarding processes.
• Back-office functions, such as delegated authority management, broking, placing, and claims processes.
• Integration with various internal systems, such as finance and MI.
• Integration with service providers, such as Electronic Claims Files (ECF), document management, sanctions, and credit checking systems.

The new product alleviates the need for double keying data entry as it is less prone to human errors. Additionally, it is more robust and scalable for a fast-growing business.

Underwriting and Policy Administration System Replacement

Led a team of 18 business analysts, testers, and developers to successfully deliver a system that would replace an archaic 55-year-old system for Legal and General Insurance.

The system being replaced started its life in 1965. Albeit old, the system worked and delivered what was needed but was very cumbersome and needed to modernize. The team was tasked with analyzing the existing capabilities and delivering a like for like system (LFL) in the first phase, which often involved reverse-engineering the capabilities due to lack of or old documentation. The product launched within 18 months, and it has not only delivered what the business needed but also improved its performance by over 21%.
