The project involved launching a new revenue stream at Toptal by utilizing freelancers' insights from engagements. It began with identifying opportunities through data analysis and user research, then developing an MVP using no-code tools. This initial phase secured stakeholder buy-in, leading to the preparation of a comprehensive solution and establishing processes for internal teams.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
As a product manager, I spearheaded the project using Agile methodologies, product analytics, and strategic planning. I identified potential upsell opportunities, developed the MVP, and collaborated with stakeholders to implement a scalable solution, ensuring internal teams were aligned and processes were established.

AI Candidate Selection

Launched the MVP to improve the candidate selection process with an AI-powered tool.

We built an AI-driven tool that can easily identify the best-fit candidates for the job. I began by conducting discovery sessions with recruiters and building a data collection engine. Partnering with the data science team, we developed an initial scoring model and a stack of large language models (LLMs). We validated the model manually and with the recruiter's feedback.

As the head of product, I designed and built a system that detected discrepancies in taxi locations. Using Agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, and strategic prototyping, we collaborated with police and taxi operators to create a near-real-time identification system for fraudulent activities.
