Project History

Time Series Prediction Model

Served as the product manager for this R&D machine learning model.

Served as a product manager working with a multi-disciplinary team to build a time series prediction model for an equities trading desk in the capital markets. Created the annual plan, set quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs), and defined and communicated roadmaps and project plans. Also, prioritized and maintained the product backlog in Jira, broken down into epics, sprints, and user stories. Lastly, drafted and led weekly presentations to senior business stakeholders.

MVP: Machine Learning for the Detection of Significant Economic Interdependence Between Companies

Built a machine learning solution under tight regulatory timelines in coordination with data scientists and two different IT teams.

A solution that leverages natural language processing (NLP) to extract company names from textual data and applies pattern matching and classification algorithms to identify companies with significant economic interdependence. MVP was built in collaboration with three different technology groups.

MVP: myDocCompare for the Policies and Procedures Library

Oversaw the end-to-end implementation of this solution by prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog in Jira, broken down into epics, sprints, and user stories.

A cloud-based application that leverages elastic search technology to automate the analysis of 30,000 policy and procedure documents and identify duplicate content. The UI component allows users to check draft text/documents for similarity against documents already in the policy and procedures library.

POC: Public Funds Risk Assessment

Oversaw the end-to-end delivery as a product owner by creating and maintaining a prioritized backlog and analyzed model outputs.

This proof of concept applied a supervised, machine learning classification model to determine an internal market risk rating for public funds based on each fund's objective and investment strategy and leveraged NLP to summarize the fund's strategy.

Prototype: Financed Emissions Dashboard and Calculations Methodology

Built a financed emissions dashboards in record time to assist the organization in understanding its climate risk exposure.

Defined the methodology to calculate financed emissions for the business loans portfolio and oversaw the development of the financed emissions Tableau dashboard that captured financed emissions across six PCAF asset classes.

Served as the Volcker Rule subject matter expert in the PMO and worked to understand the impact of the rule on the capital market's business lines. In addition, I conducted trading desk-level Volcker assessments and oversaw the implementation of Volcker metrics reporting with direct accountability for the business requirements and business user UAT.

Multi-project OTC Derivatives Trading Technology
