Project History

MVP Delivery for a Fintech Platform

Managed a team of internal stakeholders and an outsourced development company to design, develop and launch a minimum viable product (MVP) for a fintech platform in the UK.

The product was a web application with a React front end with multiple user types and an advanced algorithm providing a news feed based on selected criteria. We outsourced its development to a team of nine members comprised of scrum masters, testers, project managers, and front- and back-end developers.

I worked with the product owner and founders to create a list of features, low-fidelity wireframes, and detailed specifications. I also designed and implemented processes and tools to collaborate successfully with multiple stakeholders across four time zones. I led weekly sprint meetings with the entire team to agree to complete a set of ready top-ordered product backlog items. Finally, I managed the testing and documentation of each sprint, including development review meetings and presentations.

Development of a Second Generation Enterprise Application

Managed the product design and development team to deliver a fully functional application with sound product market fit and built secure DevOps processes and frameworks for consistent innovation and release cycles.

TimeTEQ was a workforce management B2B application with scheduling, time and attendance, and absence and pay rules functionalities. The solution at the time was delivered over terminal services, servicing customers from 100 to 10,000 employees.

Ideation and Productization of an Edtech Platform for Creators

Partnered with the co-founder to establish a viable technology offering for the creator economy, conducting user interviews, analyzing data, and developing a core value proposition.

I conducted a comprehensive review of solution ideas, measuring against the value proposition and commercialization. I also analyzed the market segment and size and built over 50 product canvasses over time, covering the problem, solution, unfair advantage, revenue, cost, key metrics, and competition.

Once the high-level concept was established, we built a prototype and conducted further validation with users, challenging our assumptions and confirming our hypothesis. Upon completion of the validation, I assisted with the product roadmap and MVP feature design, providing guidance and attending sprint meetings during the development stage.

Finally, I worked on a go-to-market strategy detailing a comprehensive channel mode and sales and marketing strategy, identifying the leading indicators, and preparing the visualization and reporting. Once the project was complete, I provided strategic advisory services during the execution, such as on-call meetings and monthly strategic leadership team meetings.
