Project History

Field Service for Oil and Gas

Led the development of field service and field mobility software solutions focused on the oil and gas market, managed needs analysis, user requirements, product definition, pricing, and packaging.

The resulting offering was managed by Hand and sold and implemented successfully to the three largest oil field services companies in North America. The software enabled field personnel to capture and process field ticket information on mobile devices while offline and connect sync data back to corporate systems once online.

Systems Management for Test Engineering

http://www.ni.com/systemlink

Led product and business case development for a new systems management offering for NI company and managed a successful lead user program and go-to-market campaign, leading to widespread product adoption.

SystemLink is a software product suite enabling test engineering teams to connect a group of systems to a central web-hosted collaboration interface. Through the SystemLink application, users monitor system health, track system utilization, deploy software to remote systems, and perform system-level data collection. With add-on modules, users can view test results in a central dashboard, configure test reports, and perform interactive analysis of parametric test data.

Field Asset Management

Led the software definition and productization of a field asset management offering for an early-stage startup, leading to crucial customer wins and the ability for the company to operate profitably and self-sustaining status.

The field asset management software combined Hand's enterprise mobility platform with applications that enabled maintenance workers to use handheld devices to update work orders and capture time and materials data. Data transactions were routed to back-end systems such as SAP, IBM Maximo, and Oracle Enterprise Asset Management.
