Project History

Cisco Interactive Services Solution

Managed the Cisco Interactive Services Solution, a next-generation cloud-based signage solution that combines web-based content and applications for touchscreen, interactive, and video collaboration.

I wrote the PRD and negotiated this project's original equipment manufacturing (OEM) contracts. My tasks included managing software, hardware, services, pricing, original design manufacturing (ODM) production, inventory and forecasting, documentation, support, warranty, partners, and marketing communications, including websites, press releases, and conferences.

As a result, I released the solution to market within 12 months, winning a best-of-show award at the Digital Signage Expo for interactive digital signage solutions.

Automotive Radar | Software, Hardware, and Sensors

Led the product and business development for Uhnder's 4D imaging radars and software portfolio, targeting automotive and last-mile robot delivery applications.

Collaborating with a cross-functional team, including engineering, systems, applications, sales, operations, legal, and finance teams, on this project, I managed customer requirements elicitation and negotiation, specifications, release planning and management, and roadmap planning. I guided deep customer relationships and sales, partner and vendor management, contract negotiations, and collateral creation.

New Video Infrastructure Product Segment

Developed a growth strategy for a new video infrastructure segment, increasing sales and winning major OEM customers by establishing an integrated customer engagement model with marketing, sales, systems, applications, legal, and partners.

I managed and funded a video analytics research program at the University of Texas at Austin, driving a $20 million new product development with over 75 engineering resources, and winning over $70 million in key accounts, including the leading networking company's first digital signal processor (DSP) processor socket.

The deliverables included a solution for the customer's media server platform for the data center, including an AMC board, new multicore silicon, and system field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and scalable video coding (SVC) video compression software. I also established a new global video demand-side platform (DSP) software group that developed multicore software-based HD video codecs for telepresence and media servers in the data center.
