  • Oversaw a period of 10x growth of the Choose Energy marketplace to a total gross merchandise value of $1 billion.
  • Led the creation and launch of the largest SMB energy marketplace in the US which grew to ~$2 million in ARR within the first 18 months.
  • Established the processes that improved all key marketplace metrics (conversion, site traffic, and customer acquisition costs) by at least 50% in my time as VP.
  • Developed deep partnerships with nine out of the ten largest energy utilities in North America creating an additional $3 million in revenue.
  • Created a cross-functional process with the CMO to create repeatable playbooks across markets including sales and lead targets based on my industry knowledge.

Choose Energy is North America's largest energy marketplace. Reporting to the CEO and CFO, my role was the VP of product where I focused on merging the technical with the business strategy.

My first major product initiative was the B2B marketplace which grew to $2 million ARR in its first 18 months.

After that success, I was promoted to lead the entire product team where I focused on putting the systems in place that allowed us to grow 10x to over $1 billion in gross merchandise value by the time we were acquired.
