Kraft Heinz is a CPG company that is developing direct customer relationships. A key part of this process is to develop the analytics that will aid the business decision-makers in understanding how to acquire, retain, grow, and maximize customer lifetime value. I developed the customer analytics that contribute to this purpose.

Product Profiles

Product profiles were developed to analyze which products provide the most desirable contribution to the product mix.

Product Profiles is an application that merges many different metrics such as cost, revenue, margin, and demand to calculate the value of a given product within the product mix.

Technical Product Management

Owned the technical functional design for a cloud-based analytical product based on mobile traffic. The application provides visitor traffic, demographic, and movement information associated with polygons that define a retail location.

Near—formerly UberMedia—is a leading mobile device movement information provider for retail real-estate and business owners. Pinnacle is their first cloud-based visual mappings analytics application, and I was responsible for the database requirements and functionality. I developed data maps that tracked data elements from source files to a star schema to query, transform, and rendering in the UI. I worked closely with the engineers on developing the full product, from data loading to database design, API, and the rendering of results.

Uptime Analytics

Built a company providing a SaaS predictive analytics app for preventive equipment maintenance for mining and energy.

Using IoT and other data sources, Uptime's predictive analytics can help maintenance managers plan for equipment maintenance resulting in a savings of tens of millions per year. One mining customer has over 250 pieces of heavy equipment in the system.

LearnEarly

Built the first SaaS analytics product company and sold it four years later.

LearnEarly was not only the first SaaS analytics company, it was also the first company to provide analytics based on standard testing for grade school students. This provided an assessment of curriculum opportunities for students, classrooms, and schools.

Investment Portfolio Management System for Insurance Companies

The markets' first fully compliant investment portfolio management system for insurance companies.

This application provided full accounting and reporting on the investment portfolio maintained by insurance companies. The application interfaced with security portals to update the market prices of the bonds and equities in the portfolio. It managed all accounting, reporting, and tax requirements for the insurance company.

Salesforce Pipeline Analytics

Developed an index which determined the level of forecast risk in a sales pipeline. Able to detect at-risk opportunities.

Every sales manager wants to increase pipeline forecast accuracy and identify at-risk opportunities. Working with two different SaaS companies selling analytics and reporting to Salesforce customers, I developed an algorithm and index, which increased forecast accuracy and identified problem opportunities.

Team implemented new world wide budgeting/planning system at BofA.

As a team member, I was responsible for collecting user business requirements and translating those to technician requirements. To aid and document this process, I developed the SCOPE methodology. The budgeting system had a successful worldwide rollout.

eCommerce Analytics SaaS Product

Full responsibility for a eCommerce analytics SaaS product for eCommerce vendors to understand customer value and product sales. Defined requirements, design, product management, product marking, development, sales and customer success.

Infopia sold eCommerce transaction SaaS applications to midsize eCommerce companies and this project was to add analytics/BI to the product suite. The analytics was feed by the transaction data and focused on life-time customer value and product success. When completed the product was released to the existing customer base

For a CRM SFDC analytics SaaS company I developed predictive analytics for their pipeline forecasting product.

Worked with their client base of 60 customers to evaluate pipeline flow and performance to determine how to consistently generate a reliable sales forecast. Product managed the resulting pipeline product.
