Project History

Redesign and Development of an Edtech Product

Led the redevelopment of a leading behavioral change product. It resulted in user engagement levels increasing by more than 50% and customer renewal rates increasing by more than 100%.

Potentialife is a behavioral-change-focused B2B edtech product. Its founders are ex-McKinsey and ex-Harvard and its clients are large corporates and innovative tech companies.

I led the design and redevelopment of the core product with a complete redesign of the user experience including UX and UI, curricula, video content, and notifications. Along with the new user experience we created content, user, and notification management applications which reduced the operational burden by more than 50%. I was also responsible for the development of the initial strategy, the management of the design process, and the management of product development over a six-month period.

B2C Mental Health App Roadmap

Created the overall business and product strategy for a seed-stage mental health application which raised €1 million in funding.

The team had identified a brand niche and had an underlying process for the therapy. I worked with the founder to develop a cohesive business and product strategy including a product vision and roadmap, cost and growth projection, and pricing strategies for the application.
The project involved working with several existing internal and external stakeholders to clarify the overall mission and direction. Then I performed relevant market research to understand the competitive landscape, existing pricing strategies, and hypotheses on growth levers. I was then able to project the costs and model the growth based on different scenarios. This was done in parallel with the development of a product roadmap that would enable the projected growth.
Tisi was used as the basis for securing seed financing of €1m and formed the initial strategic roadmap for the startup.

Development of a Product Plan for an Edtech Personal Development Product

Developed the product strategy with founding team to productize and scale a coaching process for a B2B corporate offering.

An experienced coach was developing a process that could scale their personal and professional development work up and allow them to work with large organizations. They had the outline of a curriculum but had been slow to progress for several months.

I created a structure for the curriculum to be clarified using user flow diagrams to understand the touchpoints between user and product. Then we developed a product strategy to take the curriculum from the repeatable process to an app-based scalable program.

The strategy formed the basis for the founder to seek seed funding for the product.

Ideation and Development of a New Whiskey Brand

Led the development of a new Irish whiskey brand and sourced product, bottling, and packaging.

Working with a senior executive with a major international drinks business, we set out to develop a whiskey-based brand to take advantage of the growing US and Chinese markets.
I led market and brand research, developed a project brief, engaged a branding agency to develop concepts, identified manufacturers, and created a go-to-market strategy for the product in the US.
The outputs were a cohesive go-to-market strategy for the drinks brand along with a developed brand and product visualizations.
