Hired, built, managed, and scaled a highly efficient 100% remote developer team. Created processes and methods to deliver ultra-fast product updates while maintaining full quality and compliance. Raised funds from venture capital investors and business angels, managed the company, and defined the road map according to shifting client requirements.

Helium (HNT) is a niche cryptocurrency mined via special LoRaWAN routers that provide low-cost wireless sensor coverage. The client considered purchasing a large batch of routers and required a quantitative risk assessment and cash flow simulation. I analyzed the cryptocurrency whitepaper and all pending change initiatives, downloaded the relevant data from the cryptocurrency API, identified the most pertinent quantitative value drivers, and developed assumptions for a 6-month forecast.
Based on this analysis, I created a strategy to mitigate risks and optimally allocate the routers.

The client decided to make the investment and implement the recommended strategy. After six months, the client achieved a ROL much higher than expected.

The product helps banks clean and process customer data by utilizing natural language processing (NLP), especially recognizing data semantics like names and addresses. The product was delivered according to client requirements by a team of four Go developers and AWS Lambda DevOps selected and led by myself. I have contributed to Go code and performed code reviews on all developers' contributions. The product was delivered on time and budget, passed all tests, and is being used successfully as an API with millions of daily requests.

For a large eCommerce business in gardening, an analysis of all 6-year sales was performed utilizing machine learning (ML) techniques like XGBoost and Random Forests. Strategic insights for management were elicited and presented to the C-Level, leading to a shift in marketing strategy and saving millions in marketing costs. I have created the project setup and the initial hypotheses and derived the management insights. I selected and hired a team of three data scientists who imported and cleaned the data and performed the analysis by writing code in R according to the ML methodology framework I defined. Client expectations were exceeded drastically, with a high impact on management decisions.

As a project manager, I was responsible for a project group of 35 members on three continents, tasked with creating and implementing a restructuring plan for the cybersecurity office. The plan had to be aligned with the information security policies and the information security system already in place across several action areas, such as penetration testing, network scanning, device security, code auditing, hacking teams, and more. I performed stakeholder interviews across the cybersecurity department to set up the restructuring goals, activities, and tasks. I tracked restructuring goals during implementation and was responsible for milestone achievement. I reported to the responsible SVP, leading 1,200 employees worldwide. I cooperated with the internal audit team tracking our progress, and was accountable for deliverables towards internal audit.
