Autonomous Mobile Robot

Led the design and development of an autonomous mobile robot designed for warehouse automation.

I managed workstreams from three different EU-based software teams: a Washington-based software QA team, an Oregon-based hardware team, and Wisconsin- and Ohio-based launch teams.

I considered the entire user experience and introduced the product marketing team to quality function deployment, the software teams to agile, and the tech support teams to Zendesk.

I brought the AMR to launch on-schedule and under-budget.

Redimark.com Industrial Date Coder

Ideated, developed, and launched a completely new concept in industrial printers.

I developed and launched a new value-priced industrial printer into a saturated market. I analyzed the complete industrial printer user experience (UX)—by applying B2C concepts to a B2B problem—to develop an eCommerce platform that eliminated friction in every phase of the customer’s experience.

The development included not only a printer and new inks, but also a new website, a secure eCommerce storefront, IIoT cellular-based cloud connectivity, a web-based user portal, smartphone apps in Android and iOS, and a SaaS program to increase customer loyalty as well as downstream revenue.

Despite a commoditized market, I was able to charge a premium and earn total margins greater than the competition.

Industrial Pricing Research

Led a pricing study resulted in optimal price for a new industrial inkjet printer.

I led the team conducting pricing research for a new industrial inkjet printer. I also developed and conducted a price-vs-feature survey of over 300 end users with purchasing authority. I then applied a van Westendorp pricing model to develop a "price sensitivity meter" and coupled questions facilitating the development of a demand curve.

This provided information on the strategic pricing decision of pricing for market share or total contribution margin.
