Project History

  • Project Portfolio Optimization
    Defined solution, worked with a mathematician to develop algorithm, and worked with dev to deliver patent pending solution.

    Defined project portfolio optimization solution to allow customers to select optimal projects with available resources. The solution allowed users to prioritize projects, specify resource and skill requirements, and run the algorithm to select the best optimal projects.

  • Financial Transaction Management System
    Led dev of financial transaction management system to help process $5 billion annual revenue and replace 10+ legacy systems.

    The customer had grown through acquisitions and had many different financial systems. Worked with a small team to design and develop a new financial transaction management system and replaced 10+ legacy systems. When the system was fully operational transactions worth $5 billion flowed through the system.

  • Dashboard and Reporting Platform
    Led development for reporting and dashboards solution for two companies resulting in improved customer acquisition rates.

    Conducted build vs. buy analysis for reporting platform. Led requirements definition and UI design for a reporting solution. Rolled out report and dashboard builder UI to allow end users to build and schedule their own reports.

  • What-if Analsis
    Led requirements definition for what-if analysis module for project portfolio management system leading to improved revenues.

    Designed a what-if analysis module to analyze the impact of projects on resource utilization and analyze the effect of postponing projects to improve resource utilization. Interactive UI served as a great differentiator helping the company improve customer acquisition rates.

  • Consumer Backup Solution
    Developed easy to use consumer backup solution and worked with the customer to roll out to first 5,000 users.

    The customer needed a backup solution to complement their software and services portfolio. They needed to integrate the solution with their CRM system to upsell this new offering.

    Defined requirements, defined REST API and helped roll out a solution with very positive feedback.
