The application handles the processes related to expiry, payments, over-the-counter reporting, corporate actions, dividends, and fixings. This project moved over all these processes from the vendor system to the in-house product lifecycle system.

APAC Dodd Frank Implementation for Over-the-counter Regulatory Reporting

Led the business analysis and user acceptance testing effort to implement over-the-counter regulatory reporting for HSBC and Dodd-Frank Act compliance for our Asia-Pacific markets and clients.

The project focused on the regulatory reporting of the over-the-counter derivatives to the regulatory authorities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and the US. The critical challenge was aligning and managing the requirements from different countries and ensuring that the client's privacy was protected, given the global nature of the bank.

Application for Handling Middle Office and Back Office Business Functions

Managed program-level planning, testing, and delivery.

A 6.5 million USD project to replace the existing middle office and back office third party system with an in-house system developed from scratch. The project is much in focus as a third-party system was the backbone of the firm's cash equities and fixed-income business and was used by almost all departments.
