Swiggy is India's leading food and grocery delivery app, with over 100 million users. I led the end-to-end execution of both user experience and back-end multi-tenant platform development to create a superior experience, helping users understand delivery time, delivery fee, and special parcel instructions.

Flash Sale Product for Flipkart

Directed a team of over 30 developers and coordinated across multiple internal teams, enabling the sale of Flipkart exclusive brands, contributing to an increase of 22% in mobile sales, and improving NPS by five points.

I led the end-to-end execution of the product, aimed at running flash sales, a concept of selling over 500 thousand units of highly aspirational products, particularly mobile like the Apple iPhone, in a couple of minutes.

The problem statement was to improve the entire shopping experience during flash sales, and it incorporated mainly three goals:

• Improving UX for the entire flow from the home page to the final payment page
• Making back-end systems robust to deal with increased traffic and demand by ten times
• Automating processes to reduce the operational effort

This product helped the business development team win crucial brand partnerships and was awarded the best product award by the Flipkart VP of product.

Catalog and Listing Experience for Flipkart Sellers

Scaled the product from 1,000 to more than 70,000 sellers, helping them create their product catalog and manage the listings seamlessly on the Flipkart app and website.

Flipkart is a leading online retailer in India with over 100 million users, and sellers on Flipkart must create their catalog for selling on Flipkart Marketplace. The product I managed helps them create, edit and delete 40 million items listed on Flipkart seamlessly.

Algorithmic Dynamic Discounter

Helped in $XX million in yearly savings by dynamically giving offers

I developed a discounting mathematical model that dynamically offers discounts to a user basis location, persona, time of the day, cuisine, distance, and availability of delivery partners in the vicinity.

Landing Page UX for Edtech Startup (Emeritus)

Launched the revamped landing page with new sections, UX overhaul, copy changes and data instrumentation, leading to $XX Mn topline impact.

Emeritus is an edtech startup that partners with big schools like Harvard, MIT, Kellogg, etc., to provide online education for working professionals. I oversaw and led the charter of improving the top of the funnel and conceptualized and developed a new landing page following Agile methodologies after doing a deep competitive analysis.
This improved overall conversion by 9%, leading to $XX Million in topline growth.
