Digital Onboarding

Led the design and development of a product for onboarding the new to bank customers through smart biometric-enabled devices, which helped the bank move from a paper-oriented approach to a paperless, digital experience.

Before Digital Onboarding was deployed, the bank operated using a traditional method driven by paper processes and manual labor. Due to the legacy systems in place, a project aimed to digitize the account opening process was considered almost impossible, costing a lot and taking a lot of time to implement.

I was tasked to lead the Digital Onboarding cross-functional squad as a product owner. Along with the support of the rest of my department, we understood the existing process and designed a solution around our customers' needs and pain points. Using design thinking and Agile methodologies, we began designing and developing the product in small chunks, improving iteratively and incrementally. We had a minimum viable product within a couple of months and scaled to all the bank branches in the country within a year.

The results were remarkable; not only were internal stakeholders impressed with the delivery and efficiency, but the bank's customers were extremely satisfied with the innovative experience that they were witnessing. The solution was a first of its kind in the country and brought many customers and revenue to the bank.

AiRo—Self-service AI Product

Co-led the design and development of the first self-service AI product that aims to make the company's award-winning pairing technology available to small and medium enterprises.

Afiniti's patented, award-winning technology uses artificial intelligence to pair humans based on behavior. The company delivers bespoke solutions to the clients globally and optimizes its operations through the use of intelligence pairing.

AiRo was the first software-as-a-service product to automate and pack what the company does best and offer it as a productized solution. AiRo is the world's first self-service AI product that allows small to medium-sized contact centers to enable intelligence within their operations in a seamless manner.

I co-led a cross-functional team that built AiRo, which was deemed a rather difficult task as it was a complex product that depended on several different components. However, within a year of conceptualizing it, we reached a point where we had a shippable product release. The product was deployed and tested on several beta clients, where we observed success.
