Designed the operations model for a financial services company to meet customer needs, manage cloud expenses, decrease costs by $219 million (over five years), and improve the company valuation by 9x.

The startup provides customers' employees with bite-sized, executable financial advice that makes it easy for them to reach their financial goals.

Led and worked directly with the CEO and COO in developing a financial model to evaluate resource requirements and address customer needs. The findings addressed and improved churn rates, customer lifetime value, customer acquisition costs, operational output capacity, and gross margin. Moreover, the model led the company to pivot its existing employee model and adopt robotic process automation and a robo-advisor approach to increase the speed of delivery and customer satisfaction.

Text Message Marketing Platform: Product Strategy

Developed the go-to-market and growth strategies for a text message marketing platform. The platform increased open rates by 4x and conversion rates by 14x. The platform is now partnered with the number one leader in the industry.

The text message marketing platform connects a team-shared inbox with customers via text message. The platform leverages AI to assess client relationships and helps teams craft the right message with delivery delay, reflection, and listener reports. The platform enables teams to improve communication, build better customer relationships, and guarantee customer success.

I led the development of the go-to-market strategy to include market segmentation, user requirements, price modeling (B2C and B2B), A/B testing used in the MVP, and financial modeling to determine venture capital requirements. The product strategy enabled the platform to partner with a leader in cloud-based communications and collaboration and service over one million accounts.

Regulation Technology: Product Management

Led the international development team to deliver a cloud-based risk mitigation tool on time and within budget.

The risk mitigation tool leveraged open-source data from the Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR filings website to automate the curation of risk summaries for publicly traded companies and private subsidiaries with public ownership.

With less than a 24-hour notice, I was deployed to Central Asia to provide humanitarian assistance to 20,000+ displaced persons. I led a special operations team of four to coordinate with the US government, partner nations, and NGOs to conduct due diligence and airlift delivery of over 117,000 pounds in flood relief resources.

I coordinated all logistical requirements in the country, including airfield capability assessment (landing, re-fuel, maintenance, and take-off), ground transportation, distribution channels, and equipment setup.

During the engagement, I identified and executed 12 follow-on projects, leveraging local resources and local support to build hospitals, clinics, and schools within the affected area.

Consumer Packaged Goods: Product Launch & System Automation

Influencer Marketing Platform: Strategy Consulting

Provided an operational strategy and contract negotiation for an influencer marketing company, enabling the company to control its burn rate and re-negotiate the terms of the third-party sales force and commissions on the majority source of revenue.

In 2013, the firm received a consent order from the Office of Comptroller Currency requiring improvements to the firm's existing Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-money Laundering program.

Over the next four years, the firm experimented and improved upon innovative ideas that improved the user experience for onboarding large multinational companies operating across multiple jurisdictions while simultaneously complying with country-specific anti-money laundering and banking laws.

This resulted in the full intent of the original consent order, the successful disruption of operations for multiple bad actors, and a significant increase in the amount of new business generated from existing clients.
