Project History

Feasibility Study: Mandarin Flash Card App

Studied the competition and target market. Built the investment case for one of the first Chinese Mandarin Flashcard apps.

SNAPP was an app development company in London. I worked with them in 2010 to study the market for a Mandarin Flashcard app. I built the business case with feature recommendations, competitor comparison, and revenue and cost projections. This was used to raise money and build the app for the app store.

Product Development: Machine Learning-based Document Categorization

Leading the development of a machine learning-based document categorization application, targeted at BPO companies.

Conducted user and buyer studies-face to face conversations with five different BPOs. Built wireframes using Balsamiq. Allocated developer resources. Got buy-in within the company. Prepared the go-to-market strategy. Currently, the product is being coded, following an Agile process.

Product Development: SaaS Platform for Real Estate Businesses

Led the product design and development of a SaaS application targeted at owners of small co-working spaces.

Conducted user and buyer interviews. Built investment proposal, and pitched to investors. Documented and prioritized requirements and development plan using Agile methodology. Led a team of product designers to build wireframes. The product is currently being coded.

Project Delivery: Customized SaaS Product and Delivered for a Hospital Chain

Led the project management of a custom implementation of a B2B SaaS product. Eight-month implementation for 12,000 users.

Built and executed the project plan. Allocated appropriate resources for development, program management, and training. Tracked all tasks closely with daily update calls with the client. This was a multinational implementation with users in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Traveled to lead user training. I was the prime person responsible for customer relationships and satisfaction. The project has been successfully delivered, and the product is now being used by 200-300 users on a daily basis. On-boarding of more users is still going on.

Product Delivery: High School Alumni Networking Platform

Led the requirements gathering, feature prioritisation and product design of an app and website for high school Alumni

I am the head of digital for my high school's Alumni association. I got an app and supporting website developed to facilitate networking amongst alumni. I engaged multiple stakeholders, captured key strategic priorities for the association, prioritised requirements and engaged with developers to have the platform built. On an ongoing basis, I manage the content and community engagement roadmap for this platform.
