Program Leadership for a US Regional Bank’s Cash Management Transformation Initiative

Headed program management in a multiyear, multimillion-dollar transformation initiative for a $100+ billion asset-size US regional bank.

The US regional bank needed to transition its treasury and cash management services urgently from a 3rd-party services provider to an industry-standard product. The key challenges and pain points included quickly developing this new capability within the bank while ensuring that customers were not adversely impacted.

I helped the bank through the end-to-end transformation, including requirements definition, process design, technical design, product deployment, configuration, data migration, cutover, training, internal and customer communications, and executive reporting to bank leadership.

As the program management lead for the 25+ Deloitte global team, I headed this $20+ million program over 14 months. My team and I:

• Managed the transformation from visioning to going live on time and under budget.
• Developed the business process and capabilities for the bank to perform the in-house cash management function.
• Partnered with the Financial Information System (FIS) to configure, customize, and deploy the product in an Agile fashion.
• Ensured a frictionless experience for the bank's customers by developing and executing detailed cutover, training, and support plans.
• Managed organizational change for the bank's employees.

Spearheaded global product management for inventory management at Amazon Fresh.

Amazon Fresh is a grocery delivery and pickup service that provides two-hour delivery services for Amazon Prime members. It is available in 11 countries across 75+ cities.

I led product management for the inventory management function. I developed the product strategy and roadmap for this function with my team of product managers. We created and optimized the product suite, and delivered over 25 projects across forecasting, buying, planning, transshipment, inventory health, analytics, etc. Also, my team and I supported the 100+ inventory managers across 11 countries to provide an exceptional customer experience.

We delivered $30+ million in operating savings YoY and reduced 50,000 hours YoY of manual effort required in the inventory management process globally.

Operating Model Transformation

Established a digital product development organization and led a project-to-product operating model transformation in an industrial solutions and manufacturing conglomerate.

A startup within a multibillion-dollar conglomerate was established to deliver SaaS-based data-driven digital solutions to the conglomerate's customers, improve industrial equipment's performance, increase touchpoints with customers, and provide a recurring services-based revenue stream.

I worked with the startup's C-level leadership to set up and evolve their digital product development organization. I integrated Agile principles to prioritize action in the launch of products and features, fostering a product-centric approach company-wide.

Through the evolution of their business performance framework, development of a clear product taxonomy, prioritization framework, and product development lifecycle, and refinement of their organizational structure to support a product team model, we helped achieve:
