Implementation of Data Privacy and Governance Compliancy Platform (2021 – 2023)

Ran the program to plan and execute compliance of Priceline for CCPA and GDPR. To fulfill the compliance plan, I designed a solution to integrate data privacy platforms, including OneTrust, BigID, and SecuPi.

This program aimed to ensure Priceline's adherence to data privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, CPRA, CPA, and VDCP). This included:

• Determining the policies to implement and comply with data privacy regulations. This was done in collaboration with the data security and privacy team and legal. It was based on the NIST framework.
• Designing and executing the plan to roll out the compliance plan.
• Designing and performing audits of data usage, including having interviews with all data and application owners to understand how data is being managed and to identify gaps.
• Adjusting the existing data governance to ease the impact of compliance requirements.
• Designing and implementing a solution to automatically create a data inventory and perform DSARs (right to be forgotten, right to access, right to portability, do not sell my data, do not share my data, right to rectify).

This involved managing three vendors and ten engineers across several units at the customer and interviewing over 40 data owners and stakeholders.

Led the implementation of a behavioral intelligence solution for Dynatrace.

Managed a team of developers and data scientists to build the solution, from conception to delivery to production. This solution allows customers to map user behavior to business goals and determine the underlying infrastructure and applications responsible for the delivery of those business goals.

Power Plant Infrastructure Renewal (2018)

Created a prototype for a renewed solar power plant infrastructure to shorten the commissioning timeline and costs, improve infrastructure robustness, and prepare technology foundations for new business opportunities.

The customer was a leader in solar tracking technology, powering some of the biggest solar power centers in the world. Their technology stack to control and operate their solar power suffered problems in commissioning and robustness, and it was costly to operate. A new technology stack, a solution prototype, and a development roadmap were created during this project.

The primary achieved goals of the solution were:
• Reduce the total lifecycle cost (from planning to commission and maintenance).
• Improve the robustness of infrastructure.
• Open potential new business opportunities.

The provided deliveries were:
• Proof of concept (POC) for selected communication technology based on the wireless mesh network.
• Field test of possible frequencies used in wireless communication to assess interferences from solar racks.
• High-level architecture, including software and hardware stacks.
• Lifetime cost simulations.
• Roadmap for achieving the vision, based on reliable product phases for each milestone and associated costs.
• Based on field data captured, provide ML models to manage the next-gen solar trackers.

Led the team designing and delivering the white label TV OTT iOS and Android applications for mobile and tablet for Maxicaster, a major provider in the Nordics. Worked with the branding and marketing teams to work for planning the product and launch.

Maxicaster is one of the major providers of cable TV in the Nordics. I led the team and project for creating their white-label native iOS and Android applications for mobile and tablet, which integrated with their video streaming platform.

The solution included the management of client subscriptions and cable TV packages.

Telletopia Product Development (12 Releases, 2014—2017)

Managed a program of 12 releases to design and develop Telletopia products, allowing them to seek further investment for their startup. Designed the delivery, service, and support of service. Managed architecture and technology selections.

The team was composed of five software and system engineers, one tester, and two designers. This included three nationalities and three different locations.

The project followed scrum SDLC and Kanban SDLC at a later stage.
