I joined the 150-headcount international digital agency Mediapark as a senior Agile consultant. During my time at the agency I:

• Created the setup necessary to use Scrum efficiently in a client-provider environment.
• Provided Scrum training to more than 20 project managers across several company offices.
• Managed a couple of showcase projects to exemplify efficient delivery of projects using Scrum.

I inherited a program that was severely behind schedule and with very low morale across the development teams. Within a short period of time, I identified several problematic projects and convinced management that they needed a stream of their own, thus liberating the resources to efficiently deliver smaller projects within my program. In a year, I reduced the time spent on this program from 120% to only 50% of the time, thus freeing me to work on other initiatives.

A Mobile Application for Red Bull

Oversaw the delivery of a mobile application for iOS and Android operating systems.

Managed a team of developers building a mobile application for iOS and Android and an admin web application, all sharing the same back end.

It was a genuine Agile project with requirements changing dramatically at the last minute due to market conditions. This required a practical prioritization approach and uncertainty management while also considering parallel efforts by our telecommunications partner in another country.

A Reusable UI Component Library

Spearheaded improvements across multiple projects, including front-end delivery speed and quality.

I started the project with the goal of rebuilding one application in a suite of applications within the organization. However, I soon recognized that other projects in parallel have overlapping work, namely that we had to create user interfaces (UI) for each of these projects, even though these were applications from the same suite. I proposed, initiated, and managed the creation of a reusable UI component library to increase the speed and quality and reduce the cost of UI delivery in several projects.
