SAP Ariba and ERP Transformation

Developed the business case for transformation, designed end-to-end source-to-pay (S2P) processes, and improved optimization levels, automated processes, user adoption, and compliance.

I managed a team of six professionals to deliver several key outcomes. I developed strategies for buying channels and supplier enablement, contributing to the creation of a new operating model. I conducted workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that addressed pain points across processes. I assessed the impacts of S/4 HANA on P2P processes, reviewing simplification items, current customizations, and integration. I developed a new process taxonomy and end-to-end process flows using SAP Signavio for source-to-contract, supplier management, direct and indirect procurement, and invoice-to-pay, incorporating best practices and country-specific localizations in Western Europe. I designed end-to-end solutions to support business processes using S/4 HANA, Ariba, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), BEST, and ServiceNow. Additionally, I led the solution integration design for Ariba and SAP S/4 HANA Procurement with S/4 HANA Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Inventory.

SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation

Designed and deployed a transformed P2P function as a P2P lead, implementing a standard finance solution (SFS) as a global template for shared service centers (SSCs) across the APAC, EMEA, and LATAM regions.

In this project, I helped improve P2P performance metrics by increasing touchless invoice processing from 10% to 50%, reducing the cost per invoice from $10 to $7, and improving on-time payments from 70% to 90%. I designed and deployed a global SAP template that standardized processes across 10+ countries while managing a team of 25+ process and functional professionals. I implemented SAP-enabled finance and procurement processes using S/4HANA, Ariba, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), and SAP Concur for sites across multiple regions, delivering an average ROI of 20% to 25% for the client. Additionally, I developed automation solutions using SAP BTP to streamline P2P processes. I also created policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, invoice processing, supplier payments, travel and expense management (T&E), GR/IR reconciliation, and vendor account reconciliation, ensuring seamless integration with master data management (MDM), sourcing, contract management, and financial accounting.

I designed direct and indirect procurement processes, including invoice processing and payments. I configured and deployed an S/4HANA Fiori-enabled procurement solution, covering purchasing, outline agreements, release strategies, pricing conditions, goods movements, physical inventory, logistics invoice verification, inbound delivery, and procurement analytics. Additionally, I developed user training materials and conducted workshops for end users. I performed unit and integration testing and cutover activities to ensure a successful system go-live. After the implementation, I provided post-implementation support, resolved critical issues, and ensured system stability.
