Project History

Audio-video Conferencing and Messaging Platform Integration Project

Released seven integrations that allowed users to work with different content within the platform to easily switch between chat discussion and content collaboration.

I led several distributed teams consisting of developers, testers, and scrum masters. Some integrations were web-based, and some were integrations with the native client.

My responsibilities at the beginning of the project were:
• leading scrum teams;
• facilitating communication within scrum teams and relevant stakeholders;
• enabling delivery plans and progress visibility;
• ensuring the scrum methodology was understood and used effectively;
• collaborating with product owners; and
• coaching team members.

After six months, I took the role of delivery manager on the project and oversaw:
• commercial management, including budgeting and financial forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting to the client;
• contractual management, including managing contracts and renewals;
• risk management, including risk and issues identification, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting;
• relationship management, including managing client expectations and ensuring that adequate communication with the client was maintained;
• delivery success while meeting the agreed timelines, cost, scope, and quality criteria; and
• developing high-performing teams and ensuring adequate staffing, onboarding, team morale, and career development.

Productization and Testing of Firmware

Led the team and successful delivery of firmware used in meeting and conference solutions.

As the distributed team lead, I conducted the following tasks and activities:
• managed project financials, including budget and financial forecasts;
