Structured and Incubated the Design (UX / UI) department, including: budget, people (hiring), processes, metrics and more

Responsible for structuring the Design area at Retail inMotion, a Lufthansa Group, and creating a culture and a process that is Design led and user centred; alongside with the ongoing work of bringing an Agile Culture and transforming the organisation for the present and for the future.

This project included: selling points for executives (C-Level) to approve the budget for the organisation, which relied heavily on ROI (Return Over Investment) calculations; hiring people, managing the finances / budget of the area; defining metrics and gathering them, making sure we were hitting the minimum threshold; defining process for the area as well as the connections with the other departments; defining roadmap and deliverables and communicating these across the entire company, as well as directly to clients.
