The website had previously been managed by a third-party agency that had left the site with a number of issues. The team worked to improve this with a team of UX designers and animators. This included fixing all accessibility issues, ensuring there is the alt text, good heading structure and the correct keyboard focus states. We then introduced complex animation and videos to make the website more engaging. This required using new technologies in order to make sure we did not impact performance. We also ensured we created the new site in a way that made it easy to maintain.

I managed a team of five developers to create a series of automated messages to customers via push, email and SMS that remind young women to get their cervical cancer screening. This campaign led to an improvement in appointments of over 200%, with the team optimizing the campaign in response to customer feedback.

The old TJ Maxx app had been in place for many years and had reached its end of life in terms of the technology stack. I helped to coordinate an Agile Release Train (ART) under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), coordinating over 50 employees, to develop a new app in six months. We successfully went live across North America stores with the new app.

Managed a team of developers and contractors to roll out all the IT equipment required for new Argos stores - including tills, tablets and store servers. Rolled out to over 100 locations in the UK, through a series of overnight deployments.
