There were several distributed scrum teams across Europe that lacked cohesiveness and effective workflow. I provided structure and leadership through an atmosphere of accountability, transparency, teamwork, and a focus on continuous improvements to how the team gets work done and addresses potential obstacles to success. As a result of my work, the teams both increased and stabilized their velocity and improved estimates, which improved their morale and worked efficacy and their reputations with the stakeholders they served.

I worked with the PMO on process analysis, pain point identification, and process enhancement, and I contributed to the entire product management process, including planning and workshop facilitation, backlog planning and feature prioritization, roadmap development, scrum of scrums, and release management and report delivery, as well as coaching clients on agile and scrum topics to ensure continued success.

Industrial Refurbishment Project for FIAT

Successfully delivered several projects within the industrial refurbishment program for FIAT Serbia.

As the project controller and manager within the industrial refurbishment program of an auto factory—a project with a total investment of over a billion euros—I monitored the scope, schedule, and cost of the various projects to keep them within their improved baseline, as well as reported progress to stakeholders. I contributed to verifying standards and legislation compliance and ensured that technical documentation was complete and accurate.

Coached and transformed a dysfunctional, distributed scrum team into a self-organized, self-managed, and reliable team, providing value with each iteration.

As the scrum master of a distributed scrum team, I developed a universal destination server that can scan and sort both TNT and FedEx barcodes.

I organized and facilitated sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and more. My work also included teaching the team to create clear and concise epics and stories, coaching them on core Agile principles, and facilitating a scrum of scrums for offshore teams based in India.
