Consolidated data from dispersed data sources, streamlined product management, and enabled a robotic warehouse.

I managed a cross-functional team on the implementation of master data management (MDM). The team was comprised of developers, enterprise architects, testers, and security specialists. Another important task was to manage the vendor on the engagement. I also led the expression of interest and the request for proposal (RFP) for platform support and maintenance. After conducting the vendor selection process, I prepared business cases for MDM phase two, product lifecycle management (PLM) projects, and then obtained approvals from key stakeholders.

Weather App for the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BoM)

Led the implementation of BOMWeather, the official Bureau of Meteorology app that scientifically forecasts weather across Australia, provides severe weather alerts, and more.

I was responsible for project resourcing, procurement of digital strategy, cloud services, and DevOps services. After leading vendor selection, I then took responsibility for the alignment of BoM with the digital transformation office’s strategy. I also managed a team using Scrum and comprised developers, UX designers, testers, and a cloud administrator. We uplifted technical capability (DevOps in AWS cloud), which was realized in reduced time to market (from nine to six months and two to three fewer sprints on average), including fewer defects in production, which is zero detected to date.

IPO Platform

Launched a new investor platform for managing IPO campaigns. Restructured internal processes to enable scaling from 12 to 100 employees.

I was responsible for end-to-end implementation of a new investor platform to optimize and streamline IPO campaigns. Some key tasks were facilitating program workshops and meetings, such as planning sessions, retrospectives, stand-ups, and discovery workshops. I was also responsible for the program’s weekly reporting and vendor management. Some major achievements were optimized business processes for shareholder purchasing plans. As a result, 25% less effort is now required to execute the campaign and a redesigned operating model was completed to prepare the company for hyper growth. I led the selection of the CRM and ERP platforms for reach markets. I also selected appropriate platforms, conducted a RFP, and selected the vendor for custom implementation.
