Advanced HR

Led three scrum teams to launch one of the easiest to use HR systems in the US within less than six months.

Prior to the beginning of this project, iSystems LLC (later acquired by Asure Software) was losing its biggest customers at a pace which would not allow it to survive for more than two years.

I was tasked with finding a potential partner with which we can create integration and launch a product which will stop the leak of customers and turn the tide so that the business is growing again.

After a time of research, I identified such a potential partner, I got the keys to executing the project using three development teams - 2 on site and a remote team.

As the lead Project Manager, I was the main point of contact for all stakeholders - company executives, customers, engineering teams, marketing, training and more.

The project launched successfully on the time and budget defined by the executive team (at this point Asure Software - ASUR) and indeed stopped the leak of customers out of the company.

Just a bit over a year after its launch, Advanced HR is Asure's flagship HR product.

Evolution Analytics

Led the creation of a payroll and HR Analytics tool which creates a competitive advantage for Asure's customers.

* Managed a Scrum team since the initiation phase of the product and until and after its launch

* Took over the business analysis responsibilities to identify the customers' needs and how competitive advantage can be created for them using the service

* Based on the customer, market and business analysis, created the product roadmap. Prioritized tasks for the team, reviewed and approved work being done

* Managed the communication with stakeholders (internal and external), defined and managed beta program, continuously collected feedback and made adjustments to the plan

* Created a launch plan which included marketing materials, communication plan, pricing, licensing and onboarding processes

* Represented the company in trade shows and conferences, presenting the product in front of large audiences and meeting potential partners and customers

Powermatrix

Led Powermat's mobile app development project to allow users to wirelessly charge their phone in central places in the US.

After joining Planet of the Apps as a project manager, I was tasked with building a mobile app for Powermat, a wireless charging company which was already installing its charging mats in coffee shops tables such as Starbucks and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

With the help of a remote team of developers, we developed a mobile app for both iOS and Android and launched it on time and with 20% less budget expense. To develop the product, we applied an iterative approach to product development which allowed us to get feedback early and often and meet our goals earlier than expected.

QuizFace: Celeb Picture Trivia Quiz

Hit #1 in the Trivia category in multiple app stores across Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Italy).

Managed a team of developers, designers, QA engineers, and project managers until and after QuizFace was published in the European App Stores in 2014.

Was in charge of design and user experience during the planning stage, and later created the roadmap and prioritization for the team to execute.

Defined KPI to be tracked after launch. When reviewing usage data and KPI results shortly after the game was live, it became clear that people are spending way too little time in the application. Using data analysis, I found that the reason is that the game is too difficult. I applied new measurements and found a way to make people stay engaged by a time multiple of ten (from an average of 30 sec per session to five minutes average). As a result, the app climbed to the top of the charts in the European app stores (Belgium, Netherlands, Italy) within just several weeks off its launch.

2BAware

Led the creation of an interactive self-awareness workshop, based on a story in which the user is the main character.

Founded a company based on a self-conceived product idea, for an interactive self-awareness workshop.

During the 20 days of the workshop, the user is reading a graphical story taking place in a highly graphical imaginary world in which they are the main character.

At every day of the path, the user runs into different adventures such as meeting fantastical creatures which represent their fears, emotions, and thoughts. They are then required to go through some online tasks to reflect upon those aspects in themselves.

To bring this idea to life, I had to first create the content. Later, I managed a team of engineers, graphical artists and designers to iteratively develop the product.

Upon launch, I took on the marketing responsibilities and created a self-awareness multi-blog in which 70 writers from all over the world published their content.
The blog generated over 6000 entries a day.

PuzzleFace

Via applying analytical thinking, increased time in the app by a multiple of five, and revenue by a multiple of three.

When working for Planet Of the Apps, ltd I took on managing PuzzleFace which was back then a failed mobile app in which two players compete who can answer more trivia questions in a specific category, in 60 seconds.

Having a remote team to work with, I first fixed all the quality issues which were part of the user experience at that point in time. Later, I chose to apply data gathering techniques to learn more about the users' experience.

By trial and error, we put changes to the application which quickly turned out to significantly increase the time a user is spending in the application and shortly after to increase by a multiple of three the amount of revenue coming in from both in-app purchases and ads.
