Transformation Program

Led the company Aircraft Operations applications domain business and technology transformation program.

The Aircraft Operations applications domain is the key revenue-generating unit for the company. A major transformation program was initiated to re-position the company and the technological challenges it was facing. The program involved redefining the product strategy of the core solution, which was built over 20 years ago. It also involved the reorganization of the business functions and operations to support and evolve the solution.

The program effort, divided into six streams, involved specific departments, including Engineering, Product, Operations, Business Development, and Corporate. As the program manager, my role was to plan and lead all activities and deliverable distributed among those teams.

In this initiative, I was successful in mobilizing the efforts of the Business and Technical teams spread globally to deliver concrete actions and deliverables within a time constraint of six months.

CSALP Enterprise Split (ERP)

Delivered the creation of the new entity C Series Limited Partnership in SAP.

Bombardier Aerospace Commercial Aircraft needed to split the C Series program from its existing entity into a new one, following the requirement to create a new legal entity for this program. The program required a complete review of all organizational and operational objects within its ERP to define the new entity. This entailed extensive involvement and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure minimal impact following the changes.

As the project manager, my role was to manage the efforts of the teams, and to collaborate with the stakeholders affected by the modules identified. Time constraints and operational impacts were the critical factors given the deadline imposed by governmental bodies, and the nature of the manufacturing processes and environments.

ITSM Harmonization Program

Led the ITSM Harmonization Program following CGI's acquisition of Logica.

The acquisition of the firm Logica by CGI came with the need to standardize and harmonize the different ITSM platforms and processes used by the Logica teams and units with the CGI enterprise framework.

The main objective of the program was to bring all ex-Logica teams onto the enterprise ITSM platform and harmonize their operations. This effort was completed within 14 months. The program required collaboration with teams and stakeholders globally and involved considerable change management effort.

As the program manager, I led the efforts of the ex-Logica teams to facilitate their transition to the CGI enterprise framework within the program constraints. I also worked with the required functions to optimize and consolidate how cost controls were tracked and reported. I then implemented a rigorous governance process.
