Project History

Digital Museum Exhibits: Environment Gallery | Telus World of Science Edmonton

https://ngxinteractive.com/projects/

Managed and produced a series of digital interactive exhibits for a museum environment gallery.

While working for NGX Interactive, I managed two digital exhibits for a new environment gallery at Telus World of Science-Edmonton. One exhibit was an interactive floor projection where the visitor experiences what life is like for a polar bear hopping between shrinking ice floes to stay alive. The other was an interactive recycling game that teaches visitors what objects can be recycled and how they can be re-purposed into new products after being recycled. The environment gallery went on to win the Best Exhibit or Show - Large Institution 2013 CASCADE, awarded by the Canadian Association of Science Centers.

SKOOKUM Music Festival Website

https://intergalactic.com/content/skookum-festival

Managed the design and development of the website, including the front-end and back-end systems to launch a new music festival.

As a contractor for Intergalactic Agency, I worked with Brandlive and Will Creative to develop a teaser site and the full website for Vancouver's newest music festival, the SKOOKUM Music Festival. This end-of-summer festival in Stanley Park promises to be a wildly civilized weekend of music, creativity, and culinary excellence. The teaser site was designed to create buzz around the event, whereas the full site provides bios of all artists, schedule details, and ticketing information, to name a few. The client had complete control over the page layout and content made possible by a fully customizable content management system.

You can read Intergalactic's entire case study in the link below.

Fully Customizable Drupal Website

https://www.bcldbcannabisupdates.com/

Managed the design and development of a website, including the front end and back end for a government agency to provide real-time updates on a rapidly changing area of business.

As a contractor for Intergalactic, I worked with the BC Liquor Distribution Branch to create a website to keep suppliers, retailers, and the general public informed as the province of British Columbia transitions towards the legalization of non-medical cannabis.

In addition to the front-end website, we designed and built a content management system, which allowed the client to adjust the layout, navigation structure, and content as the transition plan evolved, and the province of British Columbia provided more details. This approach allowed the client to provide real-time updates on the website, provide documents for download, and adjust the FAQ sections to better address the most common questions received through the online form submission.
