I designed a cash management product from scratch and led its implementation on web and mobile for Argentina and Mexico retail and institutional clients. The product was successfully released in Argentina, with over 15,000 unique customers, but unfortunately, it was never released in Mexico due to insufficient funding. I managed the project end to end, including managing the dev team, UI/UX designers, and QA, negotiating with external partners/brokers, working closely with our marketing team on the commercialization strategy, and overseeing support.

A Crypto Rewards App

Designed and led the implementation of a crypto-related web app that rewards users for trading on decentralized exchanges.

I managed the app from a product and project perspective, designing the UX from scratch, guiding the UI/UX engineering, and writing the specs for the engineers. It was a very complex project since it linked the Web2 and Web3 worlds.

As a project manager, I inherited a version of the Hummingbot Miner that was nearly a minimum viable product (MVP). I managed a scrum team of ten developers that brought the product to its current state through almost 15 releases in one year. The platform currently has over 300 unique customers that trade over $800,000 daily.

A Robo-advisory Platform

Led the revamp of the existing platform and launched a mobile app that supported the existing web app.

I led the revamp of the company's existing robo-advisory platform, which included a complete UI/UX redesign, the design and implementation of new investment strategies, and the release of a mobile version of the app.

An MVP of a Trading SaaS Platform for Crypto Market Makers

Led the design and implementation of an MVP of a trading SaaS platform, which is now undergoing a private beta.

I managed a "skunk works" team of four developers, a UI/UX designer, and a tech architect. Starting with a design sprint, we were able to put together an MVP in less than two months. The product itself was a trading SaaS platform aimed at crypto token issuers and exchanges that needed to provide liquidity for certain markets.

A Backtesting Engine for Algorithmic Trading

Launched and managed several releases of a backtesting engine for algorithmic trading.

I managed two teams of six developers each, one team for the back end and another for the front end and API, during the release of the MVP and the first version of a backtesting web-based engine aimed at algorithmic crypto traders. I also put together and managed a private beta with a select group of users who were power crypto traders and who eventually became the first clients of the platform.

An Internal Financial Reporting System

Led the design and implementation of an internal financial reporting system for C-level executives and the board of directors.

An Investment Banking FX Ops Upgrade

Led the design and first phase of a complete upgrade of JPMorgan Brazil's FX trading business.

I led the design and implementation of a complete upgrade of Brazil's entire FX trading business, migrating all systems and operations from ad hoc software and procedures to the global standard. The company had attempted this project twice before without success. The project involved coordinating over ten tech teams in multiple regions, including the US, the UK, Argentina, Brazil, and India, along with the front, middle, and back office operations and the compliance, business management, and legal departments.

The Launch of New Investment Banking Products

Launched new investment banking products in JPMorgan's Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico branches.

Led the implementation of a new line of investment banking products for JPMorgan in Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil. I managed the entire project, including the engineering, compliance, legal, and front, middle, and back office teams.

The Cloud Migration of Storage Infrastructure

Migrated the on-premise storage infrastructure to a public cloud solution.

I led the migration of ExxonMobil's Dallas and Houston IT on-premise storage infrastructure to the public cloud. During this project, I collaborated with the company's architects, negotiated with the cloud provider, and coordinated with the infrastructure teams.

A Network Segregation Project

Led the design and implementation phases of the IT network's segregation to allow the outsourcing of analyst jobs to an external provider.

As part of an outsourcing effort, we needed to segregate the company's network so that analysts from an external service provider could perform IT-related tasks without having access to proprietary information. It was a very challenging project, both technically and operationally, since we needed to coordinate in-house infra teams with the contractor's IT team, all scattered in three different time zones, including the US, India, and Malaysia.

An In-house iPhone App Store Deployment Project

Co-led the rollout of a company-specific app store for ExxonMobil's entire iPhone fleet.

After migrating from Blackberries to iPhones, it was necessary to set up a company-specific app store to provide internal apps to more than 20,000 users. I co-led the rollout project of this app store, which involved leading an ad hoc team of iOS engineers and coordinating penetration tests with the IT security department.
