Data Lake for a Fortune 100 Oil and Gas Company

Designed and developed a data lake system for storing, processing, and indexing an enormous amount of oil and gas data.

I managed a team of 12 cloud developers using the SAFe methodology for almost four years, designing and documenting the system architecture from scratch.

The system consisted of tens of REST microservices deployed on the AWS cloud, and the deployment was fully automated using Terraform and Jenkins.

Technologies used: AWS Step Functions, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon OpenSearch, Amazon Neptune, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Fargate, AWS Batch, and Amazon Cognito.

Migration to Cloud for a Large European Bank

Executed the migration of 200 applications from on-premise to AWS for a large European bank.

I managed a team of five cloud developers using Scrum methodology, estimating the costs of the target AWS architecture, leading the on-site planning meetings in the client's country, and organizing multiple AWS architecture workshops for the client.

The project consisted of two phases:
• Assessment phase, discovering the client's applications architecture and technologies used and designing target architecture in the cloud
• Migration phase, executing the migration of all applications
